As a volunteer with FarmWonders you will gain experience and have fun while helping the UBC farm run a successful summer camp for children ages 6 to 11. You will learn about working with children, leadership and teaching, various skills and knowledge related to plants, the environment, science, technology, outdoors, food, etc.
We will need volunteers for:
Gardening Shifts: 9:30am - 12:00pm, Tuesday to Friday
All Day Shifts: 8:45am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
You may volunteer in one or more of the weeks.
You will play an important role in the success of our summer camp. Some of the 
tasks you may expect to take on:
• Assist in set up and clean up.
• Provide support and extra direction to camp participants.
• Assist in leading games, crafts and activities.
• Actively participate in the program.
